Europcar has partnered with Virgin Australia to deliver the ultimate travel prize for one lucky

Customers who rent with Europcar between 1 November and 15 December 2014 will be in
the running to win a $5,000 Virgin Australia Gift Voucher and $5,000 Europcar car hire. The
prize also includes access to the Virgin Australia Lounge for 12 months and Elite
membership with Europcar’s Privilege Loyalty Program.

Velocity Frequent Flyer members will also receive a bonus entry if they supply their
membership number when booking.

Europcar National Marketing Manager (Australia and New Zealand), Angela Spencer, said
the competition reflected the strong partnership Europcar has forged with Virgin, which is all
about providing a high quality and seamless travel experience, be that on the road or in the

Spencer said.

Ms Spencer said the growing partnership allowed both businesses to deliver additional
customer value through exclusive benefits to both customer bases.

priority phone line, while Virgin Australia recognises the Privilege Program through its
booking channels.”

Ms Spencer said Europcar was excited about the value the partnership brought to each
company as well as to the customer.

“Europcar is the exclusive car rental redemption partner of Velocity Frequent Flyer, which
means that Velocity Points can be used to cover part or all of your Europcar rental
throughout Australia, New Zealand and selected international countries,” Ms Spencer said.

“In addition, Europcar offers tier matching for Velocity Program Members into the Europcar
Privilege Program to ensure that Velocity Frequent Flyers are serviced more efficiently.”
The competition is being promoted through a range of channels including online advertising,
outdoor billboards, airport advertising, in-vehicle mirror hangers, direct marketing and social
media. Virgin Australia is also promoting the campaign across its Virgin Australia and
Velocity channels.
