Leading vehicle rental provider, Europcar, is continuing its support of the Sydney Swans into 2015 by signing a one year extension deal with the club.
Europcar will again be formally recognised as an Associate Partner and Official Car Hire Supplier of the Sydney Swans.
The Swans are up against the reigning premiers Hawthorn this Saturday and Sydney are hoping to take out another premiership after the victory in 2012.
Europcar Managing Director, Ron Santiago, said Europcar was delighted to announce its ongoing support for the Sydney Swans ahead of the AFL Grand Final on Saturday.
“The Sydney Swans are an elite sporting organisation, both on and off the field, and Europcar is excited to be associated with this prestigious and successful sporting club,” Mr Santiago said.
“The Swans are certainly the flag favourite at Europcar and we are looking forward to supporting the team on Saturday, as well as in the 2015 season.
As part of the sponsorship, Europcar branding will feature on LED signage at the SCG, the Sydney Swans’ website and the Facebook page and Europcar will have access to corporate hospitality at SCG home games.
Sydney Swans Chief Commercial Officer, Grant Rose, said he was pleased to have one of the largest car hire service companies in Australia and New Zealand on board with the Club again in 2015.
“We are immensely proud to have Europcar renew their partnership, which is testament to the level of service and value we have provided to Europcar throughout the current agreement. Beyond providing a great option for our members and fans, Europcar is integral to our playing group and their travel at interstate matches,” Mr Rose said.
“Our Club has a reputation for successful, long term partnerships underlined by our more than 28 year association with Principal Partner QBE and we look forward to continuing a strong relationship with Europcar for the 2015 AFL season.”
Europcar also sponsors the Perth Glory A-League club and has a strong association with the sport of cycling, both domestically and globally, including the sponsorship of ‘Team Europcar’, which participates at international events such as the Tour de France.
