Europcar Australia has invested in a complete refurbishment of its Sydney Airport branch, reflecting the company’s commitment to provide a hassle-free travel experience.
With construction completed in late 2012, Europcar Sydney Airport Manager, Mike Potts, said the upgrade was designed to create an appealing environment for customers to step into after their flight.
“We extended the boundaries of the branch to make it double its original size and both our customers and staff are more comfortable, resulting in smoother operation of the business,” Mr Potts said.
The renovated branch also includes floor-to-ceiling glass windows, brushed aluminium desks and climate control.
“It’s a big change. Prior to the upgrade, the office could become a bit crowded when we had a rush of customers. We wanted to create a relaxing environment to take the hassle out of travelling for customers after a long flight,” Mr Potts said.
The Sydney Airport branch also boasts a designated area for Europcar’s Privilege members, with specialised staff to cater to members of the company’s loyalty program.
Europcar New South Wales Operations Manager, Steve Jones, said the upgrade was essential in aligning the visual identity of Europcar branches worldwide.
“We aim for our corporate presence to be consistent in all branches across the world because investing in better facilities for our customers translates to the service they receive,” Mr Jones said.
And with January already showing an increase in sales, the team at Europcar is confident the refurbishment is being well received by customers, demonstrating the company’s ability to provide products and services that meet customers’ needs.
